AIMP adalah sebuah software pemutar musik gratis yang dibuat oleh seorang yang berkewarganegaraan Rusia yaitu, Artem Izmaylov. Itu yang menyebabkan program ini bernama AIMP yang merupakan kependekan dari Artem Izmaylov Media Player. Aimp ini memiliki beragam fitur yang tak kalah menarik dari pemutar musik lain yang berbayar. Selain dapat memainkan musik, AIMP memiliki fitur lainnya seperti, streaming  internet radio, tag editor, pengingat, shutdown otomatis dan masih banyak lagi fitur yang lainnya.

Sekarang AIMP telah mengeluarkan versi finalnya, yaitu 2.60 Build 551 Final. Pada versi ini AIMP menambahkan 3 buah skin baru yang dapat kita gunakan, perbaikan pada bug-bug yang terdapat pada versi-versi sebelumnya, serta pengoptimalan fitur-fitur yang telah ada.
