One of the new features of Internet Explorer 9 is its redesigned new tab page. The new tab page shows the websites you visit most often and color codes them for quick navigation. A site indicator bar also shows how often you visit each site, and you can remove or hide the displayed sites anytime you like.
As you know, Internet Explorer 9 displays only ten websites in the in the new tab page (that is only two rows). If you want to see more websites on the new tab page you need to do play with Windows registry to make it happen. Below are the steps to display more sites on IE 9 new tab page:
1. Open Registry Editor. To do this, type regedit in Start menu search box and hit enter. Click Yes if you are prompted with UAC (User Account Control) box.
2. In the Registry Editor, navigate to the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\InternetE xplorer\TabbedBrowsing\NewTabPage
3. In the right page, right-click and create a new DWORD value and rename it as NumRows and then set its value to 3, 4 or 5. For instance, set the value to 3 to see 3 rows (total 15 websites).
4. Close the Registry Editor and launch IE new tag page to see more sites.
